After Slavonice we went to the forest nearby where they do WW1 and WW2 reanactments. There were a bunch of bunkers with barbed wire and such. The forests here and really pretty. The boys started a reanactement of their own while we were there. It was really funny.
Then we drove to a Castle. I would say this one I liked better then the one at Strecno. It was really cool and we went to the top of the tower, the view was spectacular. Honzo, who is the one all knowledgable about technology, was leaning against the pole and and our teacher was joking about kicking his feet out from under him. After the castle we drove to Dacice and went past 2 Zameks, which are like palaces/chateaus.
In Dacice we walked around the town square a bit then we went to a small art gallery and museum about the making of the sugar cube. Before they had sugar cubes the sugar was in a cone shape and you had to use man power and clamp tweezer thing. So the story is the wife of the owner of the sugar factory hurt her hand trying to make small cubes for tea so she suggested to her husband to make smaller cubes. He felt sorry for his injured wife and a while letter had a permit to make the sugar cubes. I was a little bored cause the tour guide was blabbing away in czech. I got sugar cubes at the gift shop as did many other people :D.
When we got back to Trebic, I went to art with Monika V. for an hour. Art class is actually two hours but I go to seminary instead. I could go to another class but I rather spend time with people I know and my age and continue to make friends. Seminary was also very good. The other three youth in it are all siblings. Anicka, Lukas (Lukash) and Honzo if I remember all the names correctly. The missionaries also go to seminary and translate for me :D. I have never been so thankful for missionaries in my life.
On Friday, school was pretty normal. Petra had helped me with czech grammer on Thursday night so I reviewed what we had gone over one class and another I drew alternating. Keeps me occupied and from getting sick of czech grammer. After school on Friday I went to the opening of a small Art Gallery with Dolesky. We meet the artist and she talked about what each piece of artwork meant. I really liked her paintings. They were very much my style. Then afterwards there was food and people chatted. It was cold out :( but I was ok. After we went to the Rotary meeting which was kinda boring I will admit until members of the Jewish community preformed some dances for us in traditional style dress. That was really cool. The boys were also pulling out their jackets or their vests just bellow the colar bone. They were really good. My czech is definitely getting better though. I am able to hold basic conversations now.
On Saturday I got up super early to go to a YW conference in Uherste Hrade or spelt similar to that. It was really cool. Though we did have some train troubles and half of us were late because of that. I was in that late half. I practiced my czech a lot and a couple of yw spoke english which was helpful. We did a play on the plan of salvation. I was Moroni becaust that didnt require any talking. For Adam and Eve we made "censor" boxes :D. All the leaders laughed. The way back to Trebic was unevently in the fact we didnt have train problems again.
Once home, Jirka and Jara helped me with my rolled R which I am determined to learn.
Well thats it. I am going to go make brownies now and watch a session of General conference, proabaly the Saturday morning one since it seems President Uchdorf had a talk.
Tata for now :D
